Mobile License Plate Recognition

License plate recognition is the ability to capture an image of a license plate code, convert the code into readable text, and compare it to a registration database for identification. This technology automates what was a tedious, labor-intensive process for law enforcement personnel, and reduces the timeframe needed to research and identify vehicles.
