SAVER Project: Neutron Detecting PRDs and Spectroscopic PRDs

Neutron detecting personal radiation detectors (PRDs) are pocket-sized alarming instruments with user-readable displays that are worn on the body and indicate the gamma radiation exposure rate and neutron count rate. Responders use these devices to detect radioactive materials for interdiction and prevention purposes.
