SAVER Project: Pistol-Mounted Lights

Pistol-mounted lights attach under the barrel of semi-automatic pistols commonly used by law enforcement personnel. These devices allow officers to simultaneously aim their pistol and illuminate a target and may also serve as a non-lethal method to temporarily blind or disorient a suspect.
