The Arctic Domain Awareness Center (ADAC) designs and produces technology solutions, innovative products, and educational programs to improve situational awareness and crisis response capabilities related to emerging maritime challenges posed by the dynamic Arctic environment. The center conducts relevant research and product development that benefits arctic operations, with emphasis on mission areas of high consequence: vessel intrusion, threats to navigation, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response.
