Forensics and Criminal Investigations Fact Sheet

The goal of the Science and Technology Directorate’s (S&T's) Forensics and Criminal Investigations Program is to develop and integrate innovative technologies into operational areas where digital signatures/identification derive from criminal activities. This will allow law enforcement personnel to take advantage of massive amounts of seized and/or online digital information as investigative leads, enabling them to share critical information and perform their jobs more effectively and efficiently.
