This study was sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and conducted by SAIC’s Identity and Data Sciences Laboratory (IDSL) at the Maryland Test Facility (MdTF) as part of ongoing evaluations of biometric performance across demographics groups. This report examines 158 combinations of acquisition systems and matching algorithms to better understand demographic effects on mated similarity scores.
