The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program is committed to identifying promising small businesses and innovative approaches to help address homeland security needs. This success story highlights the DHS SBIR company Ouokka, INC., of McLean, Virginia, which developed SAFARI, making it possible to identify firmware vulnerabilities at a large scale by automatically testing the security of mobile and IoT firmware and applications to the highest of government and industry software assurance standards.
